This year’s Annual Conference – District 29’s first IN-PERSON conference in four years – will take place Saturday, May 20 from 8am – 5pm at the Hilton Fairfax (12777 Fair Lakes Cir, Fairfax, VA 22033). The cost of registration rises to $125 on the day of the conference. The theme of the conference is “Discover the Leader Within You” and the content promises to inspire attendees to do exactly that. The conference will feature not one, but two keynote speakers: Toastmasters International Director, Region 7, Elmer Hill, DTM, and Past Region 7 Advisor Charles Gates, DTM. In addition to inspiring keynote speeches, attendees have much to look forward to, including a Hall of Fame celebration (with the return of the hug line!), dynamic educational sessions, networking opportunities, breakfast and a catered lunch.
