Using Storytelling to Connect with your Audience

This presentation will demonstrate the power and effectiveness of using stories within a speech that resonate with the audience.  The first section covers one of the most overlooked aspects of speech preparation- evaluating your audience. Who are they and what are their life experiences?

The second section will use real life examples to demonstrate how telling a story better illustrates your points to make it a more vivid, memorable speech for your audience.  

Brief Biography:

Toastmaster since 1996, Member National Speakers Assoc., originally from Boston- moved to Virginia in 2006, married, BA, and MBA from the University of Massachusetts- Amherst, worked in variety of industries including financial services and retail, currently a certified Coach thru the International Coach Federation.
