The Winter TLI season is upon us! Yes, we can’t believe it too! It is already winter!
This season we will only be conducting 3 TLIs in all!
The dates are as follows: Saturdays all – December 7th (Fairfax Government Center), January 25th (Ferlazzo Building, Woodbridge), and February 15th (Verizon, Ashburn). January & February Eventbrite Links will be posted soon! Sign up for the December one before all the snow!!
Our first TLI of the season will be held on Saturday December 7th 2019 at the Fairfax County Government Center at 12000 Government Center Pkwy, Fairfax, VA 22035. Registration starts at 8 AM. Our very own International Director of Region 7, John Lesko will be presenting the Keynote!
We have the required Core Officer Training, and other sessions useful for Club Officers including Pathways for Base Camp Managers, How to find and attract guests, Best Practices of Member Retention, Best Practices for conducting effective Executive Council Meetings etc. We are also going to have a Troubleshooting Session where you can bring all your club troubles and get answers!!
If you’re not an officer, all is not lost!! We also have
lots of sessions for the regular non-officer member!
For example, we have Pathways 101
(presented twice so more members can take advantage of it!), Fundamentals of Speaking 2.0, Getting the
Most out of your Toastmasters Experience, Motivating Members! If you would
like to progress further in your Toastmasters experience, we have Going Beyond the Club: District
Opportunities. Learn what other opportunities are there for you!
If you like to compete, there are sessions on Growing a Tall Tale, a Panel Discussion on International Competition Tips.
In addition this is an excellent opportunity to meet and network with your fellow District 29 members and officers.
Breakfast and Lunch will be served for free.
