Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) provides a free training curriculum for all Toastmasters. The TLI will help you be a better Toastmaster in your Club as well as a better communicator and leader in all walks of your life. This also includes core training for Club Officers.

PATHWAYS 101

This class will cover Pathways basics, i.e. online assessment, choosing the right path, exploring Base Camp, and working with Base Camp managers via an online demonstration and PowerPoint presentation.

PATHWAYS FOR BASE CAMP MANAGERS

This online demonstration session is geared to Club Presidents, Vice-President Educations and Secretaries and will cover Base Camp duties, including tracking members’ progress, as well as approving and submitting educational awards.

PATHWAYS MENTOR
Presented by Cheryl Baker

A mentor offers encouragement and guidance to a proteges while he or she works to accomplish goals. To become a mentor, a member must be in good standing for at least six months, complete an entire path, and successfully complete mentorship training with positive evaluations from proteges.

EASY SPEAK

Easy speak software is an alternative to Free Toast Host. It provides a full website to each club. The software helps track and support member development, automate the meeting agenda, and updates some information automatically.

CHIEF JUDGE

One of the keys to hosting a great contest is having a good chief judge. This session will include a review of the role and responsibilities along with some tips and tricks to help you when you take on this leadership role.

COMPETING IN CONTESTS

Are you interested in competing in a speech contest? This session will provide you with the information you need to decide whether competing is for you. Get tips from a seasoned competitor so you can make an informed decision.

CONTEST MASTER & CONTEST COORDINATOR

One of the keys to having a fantastic contest is having a good Contest Master and Contest Coordinator. This session will include a review of the roles and responsibilities of each role and provide valuable insight and some tips and tricks to help you with your next contest.

HOSTING ZOOM MEETINGS
Presented by Dwight Yamada

This session is a must for anyone who performs the duties of Zoom Host or Co-Host for a Toastmasters club meeting to keep your meetings fun and safe. You will learn the recommended settings for your account, understand the controls for managing the meetings and what to do if an unexpected surprise (Zoom Bombing) occurs during your meeting.
